Beware this business only gives 12 months warranty for their own professional flooring installations. AVOID AVOID AVOID for multiple reasons.
Bought Gerflor brand sheet vinyl for my kitchen/dining area in July 2025 from Tassie Floorcoverings and had it installed by them too. The installation/product is faulty - it is a messy wreck (spray on adhesive used has completely failed all over). The Gerflor sheet vinyl flooring looks disgusting visually & is uncomfortable to walk on as it consists of mushy movement, unevenness & significant bubbles/lumps/bumps/shapes underfoot - looks absolutely dreadful & is a dangerous safety hazard issue particularly for kids & elders as it is very unstable underfoot. Advice is that the entire job/product is unprofessional, that includes sub-floor issues as well. Deemed unsuitable for spot repairs, it needs to be fully replaced. Not a patch up job which is likely to fail again, being a big nuisance & huge inconvenience. Gerflor have a 15 year product warranty, however, it does not apply to this consumer! Always a catch & Gerflor want a fast fix of all over repairs because it is not their problem? Flooring is wrecked - I paid for quality and not to have patched up flooring that I advised was failing in June 2026 (I was told emails go into junk).
Before committing to any floorings be sure to obtain in writing the extent of how the business will assist you if there are any unforeseen problems that happen through no fault of your own, & are out of your control (installation/product/other) make sure to fully understand the limited warranties or guarantees that the business makes and then relies on, because they are worth nothing to you, you’ll be fobbed off, or forced to accept an unsuited repair job.
Impossible to get suitable photos that truly show the entirety of the problems unfortunately - it needs to be seen to comprehend there are multiple all over problems. The photo is only a minor indication of the significant problems involved. If I can get suitable photos that better reflect the problem issues I will add them to this post.
There are also concerns about whether the Gerflor product sold to me & installed was ever fit for purpose.
Of course the distributor & seller are sticking together & claiming all over repairs will fix the installation/product problems - colluding. I had been told (witnessed) replacement Gerflor vinyl flooring had been ordered by Tassie Floorcoverings on 4 September 2026 & was expected to arrive into the business on 11 September 2026 - the business verbally stated this but REFUSED to confirm for some reason. ? ?
Tassie Floorcoverings seem to have reneged on their (witnessed) replacement undertaking, but have not formally advised the replacement Gerflor has not arrived or that they don’t intend to honour their word.
Never accept bad quality work/product/other, it is not okay.
These are my experiences & I do not recommend this business or the product involved.
Please do due diligence.

I can’t thank Tassie Floorcoverings enough for the amazing job they did on my flooring. The whole process was simple & the end result was amazing. If I could give them more stars I would.

Friendly staff who are happy to give good advice and to discuss options. This is a small shop but full of samples to choose from.
